Located only 10 minutes from I-35 and a few miles south of the Iowa border, this 34 acres of timber packs a huge list of terrain features! Looking at the aerial you will notice this killer timber tracts central location between two major food sources. When you extend even further you will find a spiderweb of timbered fence lines and creek ditches that lead from Iowa and surrounding ag country. A major creek funnel that crosses through the northern half will have searching bucks parading through during the rut. Thanks to a great mix of cedar transitions and topography there is almost zero line of sight into the farm from the road. Past the cedars three hardwood timber ridges lead down to the creek that serve as the primary bedding in the area. They also make great pinch points, routing deer within range of preferred stand sites. The farm is full of marketable timber that could be harvested. The trade off would lend to an interior food plot option that would really hone in the hunting. This list could go on but its best to see it in person. This area supports a very strong population of Deer, Turkey, and on occasion a few upland birds.
