$250K max budget (cash) but would prefer closer to $200K. Would like around 5 acres minimum but would depend on proximity to surrounding recreational land.

Preferred Location:
Somewhere within an hour or so (preferably south) of the I-70 corridor.

We currently live in northeast Iowa (Cedar Falls), are recently retired and looking for a second home somewhere along and/or south of the I-70 corridor (preferably with around 5+ acres if possible). Would like a “country home” that would initially serve as a vacation home but we would likely transition to it as a permanent residence within a few years. Max budget of $250K but would prefer closer to $200K and we would be cash buyers.
