I’ve had 4 calls on 460+/- acres, Daviess County MO since it went under contract a few days ago. Each caller is looking for something similar, large, upland, terraced, tiled. Buyer list includes one local farmer, one investor, two 1031 exchange.

Mix of tillable, CRP, hunting, more than 100-acres, Andrew and Gentry Counties

Recent auctions in CarrollRay, & Moniteau Counties all saw dozens of bidders from multiple states. Many of these bidders remain on the active buyer list for premium row crop farms of all sizes. As we’ve seen recently, premium farms continue to bring premiums prices.

Many investors are open to lease-back scenarios. They understand there are times a farmer might want to sell something but continue farming it.
