As a Land Realtor, I enjoy fielding calls and emails from investors asking how much income a particular farm is generating; e.g. cash rent, CRP payments, or maybe a hunting lease. These educated buyers are doing their homework and crunching numbers to locate (compare) investment opportunities. Investor ROI expectations can adjust up or down, as market conditions change. In recent years, we’ve seen investors change their expectations and this is likely to continue moving forward.
